Job Description

Solicitor/Legal Executive 5yrs + PQE – Private Client TeamCrosby£35,000 - £45,000My client is seeking a dedicated Solicitor/Legal Executive with 5 or more years of PQE to join their esteemed Private Client team based in Crosby. This role offers an exciting array of responsibilities within a bustling and dynamic team environment.Role Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day caseload for Court of Protection and Private Client matters.
Handle incoming client calls and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Keep clients and external agencies informed about the progress of their cases.
Liaise with various entities including Courts, Probate Registry, HMLR, HMRC, experts, and agencies as necessary.
Engage with clients both in person and remotely as required by the case.
Efficiently administer Court of Protection matters.
Provide supervision and guidance to a team handling Court of Protection cases.
Administer estate matters with precision and attention to detail.
Actively contribute to the development of new business for the team, cultivating relationships with existing contacts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to generate blog content related to private client work.

Requirements:

A minimum of five years PQE in handling Court of Protection matters, HNW Clients, Probate, Wills, Trusts, Estate/Tax Planning, and Services for the Elderly (essential).
Experience in property work (desirable).
Possession of a valid driving license and access to a car (desirable).
A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
Ambition, sound decision-making abilities, and confidence in client interactions.
The ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment while also being flexible and accommodating.
Excellent time management skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in using Case Management Systems and Laserforms (essential).
Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets (essential).
