Job Description

Private Client Role - Solicitor / CILEX Qualified / Senior ParalegalCrosby£25,000 - £45,000My client, a reputable legal firm located in Crosby, Liverpool, is currently seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to cover a 12-month maternity leave, with the potential for the role to evolve into a permanent position.This individual will be a key contributor to the Private Client department, demonstrating expertise in areas such as:

Court of Protection
Wills
Trusts
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Probate
Elderly client matters

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in independently managing a caseload, emphasizing both accuracy and efficiency.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated and self-confident approach to work, allowing for productivity with minimal supervision.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
Collaborative team-player mindset with enthusiasm for networking and business development.

In terms of responsibilities, the chosen candidate will be expected to:

Undertake fee-earning tasks to a high standard, managing a full caseload within a busy office under supervision.
Actively participate in the development and marketing of the firm in alignment with business and departmental plans.
Provide a profitable contribution and add value to the work of the department.

Key Duties:Progress instructions following established procedures and the firms risk management processes. This includes:

Contributing to marketing activities and maintaining professional relationships with referrers and clients.
Maintaining financial controls for matters under supervision in collaboration with the Head of Department.
Actively participating within the team, taking responsibility for delegated work.
Attending relevant formal and informal training sessions.
