Job Description

Legal Cashier - Full Time- Crosby (Salary Negotiable - DOE)My client is an established law firm based in Crosby who arelooking to expand their Finance Department.They are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their established finance team on a full time and permanent basis.The duties of a Legal Cashier:

  • Daily banking including recording receipts, making electronic payments, and transferring funds between our accounts
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Posting office and client account transactions such as Land Registry, search fees and court fees
  • Assisting fee earners and clients with ledger queries
  • Processing of client billing
  • Paying suppliers via online banking
  • Setting up TT/BACS via electronicbanking for authorisation
  • Managing petty cash
  • Generaladmin of client ledgers
The Candidate:To be successful in applying for this role, you must have the following:
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures in compliance with solicitors accounts rules
  • 1+ years experience in a Legal Cashier role
  • Technically strong with an eye for detail and have the ability to communicate effectively
  • You must also be reliable, organised, able to work in a busy environment, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills
