Job Description

Mechanical CAD EngineerPertemps Crawley are working on behalf of our Crawley-based client, a recognised world-leading provider of engineered solutions to their diverse range of global clients, looking for a Mechanical CAD Engineer to support the project and process engineering teamsin producing drawings and 3D models.The Role

  • Provide layouts, general arrangement and detail drawings in line with company and client standards and project specifications.
  • Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the project design requirements, liaising with interested parties and attending meetings as required.
  • Monitor job progress within specified schedules.
  • Assist in the development of design processes and standards
  • Check, approve and amend drawings
  • Liaise with production and install teams
  • Maintain Drawing Office records
The Person
  • Qualifications to HND/Degree level in a Mechanical engineering discipline
  • Experience creating 3D models
  • Proactive, methodical and solutions-focused approach to resolving queries and problems
  • Able to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to liaise and co-ordinate with staff of all levels
  • Excellent draughting skills with the ability to deliver engineering drawings clearly and accurately
The Package
  • Salary up up to £50,000 (Dependent on relevant experience)
  • Working hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5 pm
  • 23 days holiday
