Job Description

This is the perfect opportunity for a driven and qualified finance professional looking to joina collaborative and supportive team, as you will have sole responsibility over several divisions and drive the financial goals of the trust forwards.The key responsibilities of this Finance Business Partner role include:

  • Provide value support to a variety of internal stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and budget holders, by answering queries, discussing expenditure and reviewing budgets
  • Having line management responsibilities of a small team, taking accountability for their output and development, and driving improvements across the board
  • Producing reports at month end for independent areas and directors across the business to ensure full financial literacy across the organisation
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing information to the senior management team, influencing their expenditure and allocating funds appropriately
  • Providing value support to external Auditors during the year-end process by being a key point of contact to answer division-related queries

  • Have experience budgeting, forecasting and producing financial reports within a complex organisation
  • Be a fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant or equivalent
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify the cause and effect of financial variances
  • Be able to liaise with, influence, and translate financial information to, a variety of non-financial stakeholders
  • Have experience line managing an individual, however, candidates who have supervised previously, looking for a step up, will be considered
