Job Description

  • Position: Landscape and Small Works Team Worker
  • Salary: £12.99 per hour
  • Location: Crawley
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm and Friday 7am to 2.30pm
Duties will include:
  • Repairs and installation of fencing, paths, and street furniture such as litter bins signs and benches
  • Cutting back, clearing, and maintaining waterways and watercourses
  • Hedge cutting, shrub pruning
  • Leaf clearance, sweeping, emptying bins and litter picking
  • Cleaning hard surfacing of dirt and detritus
  • Removing Fly Posters, Supermarket Trolleys, Dog Mess and Dead Animals
  • Clearing fly tipping
  • Cleaning graffiti
  • Snow clearance and gritting
  • Reporting any issues that you cant deal with yourself
Key Skills required:
  • Required to maintain a current full driving licence (category B)
  • Transit sized vehicles or equivalent (including towing (if qualified) and tipping)
  • Chainsaws (If qualified), Stump Grinder and Chippers
  • Mechanical blowers, Strimmers, Hedge cutters and mowers
  • Angle grinder/disc cutter
  • Cable Avoidance Tool - CAT Scanner
  • Drills and Saws
  • Hand tools (Spade Fork Rake Hoe Broom Shovel Pruning Knives and Saws etc.)
  • Be able to swim as working near water
