Financial Planner - Sussex, manage retiring MDs client bank which generates £420k in recurring income. £70k - £75k basic salary + bonuses - working from home with occasional trip to the office near CrawleyMy client are an Independent Financial Advice firm based in Sussex. I have placed 3 advisers into the business and the Office Manager. They offer whole of market advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Mortgages and some Protections. They alsocover Wills and Trusts as well as Powers of Attorney. They have been operating for over 20 years and build an outstanding reputation with clients providing holistic planning and advice. They are a boutique business and wish to remain this way and not be acquiredor sold to a large national firm or consolidator, they feel this is in the best interest of their clients and aligns with their values.The Managing Director has had a long illustrious career in financial planning and is looking to step away from advisory activities and take on more of a management role. He has a book of business which brings in £420k of recurring fees which he wants togive to a new adviser. The MD has advises a mix of working professionals, wealth accumulators, business executives, retirees and families with between £100k - £1m to invest and they are geographically spread across Kent and Sussex. The successful candidatewill manage the book of business, but any new business you can generate via their very established lead generation mechanism will be welcomed. For the right person a Directorship position further down the line can be discussed when the MD officially retires.The offices are near Crawley in Sussex, but you can be based anywhere across the Southeast but you will need to realistically be able to come to the office perhaps 2 days a week. You will benefit from full administrative support and the operational supportfrom a dedicated Office Manager.
