Location of work: Largely remote working. You will be required to work onsite for the first week or two to get up to speed with the project. You can then perform the role remotely, only going to site when the testing/ validation needs tobe done.IR35 status: Outside of IR35The Role:You will be required to design a few boards for a new controller which controls a complex electronic product. Some of the things the controller will manage is pressures, gauges, loads and temperatures of the electronic product.For this role you should be an all-rounded Electronic Design Engineer who has Analogue and Digital circuit design skills for embedded microcontroller/ microprocessor-based systems. The controller will use an ARM based microprocessor.You should have experience working throughout the electronic design lifecycle, working from the initial design phase all the way through to manufacture. You should be confident designing for EMC.The initial contract is 6 months, but with the amount of new project work on it is expected your contract will extend.Skills required:
