Do you have a strong skill set in facilities Previously worked as a handyman or a premises caretaker An experienced Site Assistant is sought by a charitable Trust in Surrey which provides facilities, services and resources for people affected by autism.The Trust manages an OFSTED outstanding rated independent school - the only fully CABAS (Comprehensive Applied Behaviour Analysis in Schools) accredited School in the UK, together with specialist day provision for adults, a caf and a horticultural enterprise.In this varied role, the Site Assistant will be a vital part of the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness and operation across the school, Adult Centre, caf and central offices. The postholder will support security, maintenance and services of work facilities& premises to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation and its staff. With experience of undertaking a range of general cleaning and maintenance duties, the successful candidate will provide proactive and reactive cleaning and maintenance support acrossthe school and grounds. In addition, the Assistant will support with pupil arrival and departures, ensuring vehicles are managed safely and effectively.The role can be physically demanding, including manual lifting. Working as part of a team, you will be able to work in a pressured environment, prioritising tasks effectively. A car driver is essential due to the remote location of the school. This is anonsite, all year through role. No hybrid working available.Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30 or 09:00 to 18:00One weekend workday required once a month - time off in lieu to be taken.The successful candidate will hold a current Enhanced DBS check or be subject to one.Dedicate Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent staff and as an employment business for temporary workers.
