The successful candidate willplay a key role in their service operations, ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of forklifts and materials handling equipment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of forklifts and materials handling equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment status.Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.Provide excellent customer service and communication.Requirements:Previous experience as a Forklift and Materials Handling Field Service Engineer.Possession of own basic tools for the job.Clean driving license with a willingness to travel within a 90-minute radius of Horsham.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Benefits:Competitive salary: £27,000 - £32,000 subject to experience.Overtime pay after 8 hours per day.Private usage of van allowed.Paid door-to-door working hours.Opportunities for professional development and training.We look forward to reviewing your application!
