Job Description

Bell Truck and Van - Mercedes Benz. Night Shift Supervisor An exciting opportunity has become available, we are now recruiting for Night Shift Supervisor, to join our busy team at our Billingham depot, Bell Truck and Van - Mercedes Benz.Here at Bell Truck and Van - Mercedes Benz we all strive to be the absolute best and offer our customers the highest level of service.You will be supervising on the workshop floor and will be working 48 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, 6.00am to 6.30am. You will cover for the workshop manager between shift handover and weekends, and you will be responsible for conducting regular quality checks.Main duties include:

  • To allocate jobs to workshop team and supervise
  • To ensure that the workshop runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis
  • To ensure that all work carried out on customer/company vehicles is completed to the standard as set by company and Mercedes Benz
  • To ensure that there is sufficient cover for the department at all times in order to provide a first class service to our customers
  • To ensure that all personnel under job holders supervision carry out work safely and legally
  • To ensure that all employees adhere to current legislation
  • To adhere to Bell Truck and Van complaint procedures and ensure that all customer queries and problems
  • To ensure that all staff are managed and carry out their duties in line with company/MB methods of work and procedures.
