We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join the team based at our site in Billingham. This is a full time permanent role and in return, you will receive a competitive salaryplus benefits including25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and pension scheme – 5% employer contribution.Paralloy is situated in Billingham. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician - Electrical to provide support to the Electrical Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and statutory compliance is maintained throughout the site. This will include the carrying out of installation and maintaining of electrical systems, along with ensuring that electrical breakdowns and planned activities are managed effectively.Key responsibilities of our Maintenance Technician - Electrical:- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task- Maintaining a safe electrical infrastructure- Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained- Responding to electrical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner- Carrying out electrical installation work as required- Using appropriate data and systems to manage the site’s electrical & control systems- Liaising with and assisting in the managing of third-party contractors- Liaising and engaging with stakeholders at all levels- Being actively involved in the site’s Energy Management StrategyWhat we’re looking for in our Maintenance Technician - Electrical:- Recognised apprenticeship (Electrical biased)- City & Guilds electrical qualification 17th Edition & 2391- Knowledge of plant control and the use of PLC and control systems- Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonnel skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervisedIf you feel you have the skills and experience to become one of our Maintenance Technician - Electrical, then please click ‘Apply’ today!
