Job Description

Job Title: Class 2 Grab DriverLocation: Vale of GlamorganSalary: £14 per hourJob Type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent opportunityJob DescriptionPertemps are currently working with a civil engineering client based in the Vale of Glamorgan and due to growth are recruiting Class 2 Grab Drivers. Drivers will be delivering material to both public and commercial clients site projects.Responsibilities

  • Collect and delivery material to various projects in the South Wales region.
  • 3-4 drops a day, plus any additional ADHOC drops.
  • Ensure that all loads are secured and transported safely.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager.
  • Always maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 Driving License.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • NPORS Clamshell Bucket qualification or equivalent
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
