Job Description

Are you experienced helping young people with SENDDo you have experience supporting in an Education settingReed Further Education are currently working with an outstanding college in the South London area who are currently seeking a SEND Learning Support Worker to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.Role: SEND Learning Support WorkerLocation: CoulsdonHours: 8:30am - 16:00pm (Monday - Thursday)Salary: £12.32phDuration: Temporary ongoing ( term time only )The College:With over 8,000 students our client is one of the largest and most successful providers of Further (college) and Higher (university) Education courses in the South East, judged Good at all levels in all areas by external inspections by Ofsted and the QualityAssurance Agency (for Higher Education).The SEND Learning Support Worker role:

  • To support learners on a 1:1 and group basis
  • To support students in lessons who have SEN needs
  • You will be working with students 16+
What the SEND Learning Support Worker will need:
  • Experience supporting students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Personal care or Manuel handling experience
  • Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication
