Job Description

A firm of Chartered Accountants based in South East Londonis looking for an ACA/ACCA QualifiedAccounts and Tax Seniorto join them on a permanent basis. This companyoffers a hybrid working environment (3 days working in the office, 2 days from home) andrealistic career progression. Reporting to the Partners the Accounts and Tax Seniorwill act as a trusted business partner to a portfolio to clients (mainly subsidiaries of international businesses) in ensuring the following duties: Preparing monthly managementaccounts for the client base Treasury and banking management Statutory accounting under UK GAAP Reviewing client payrolls Corporate tax returns VAT returns Assist the client base with planning and budgeting Assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns,personal tax returns and filings. Compute taxes owed ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. Review provisions (including tax accounting schedules) and final tax computations. Assist with the drafting of Statutory accounts noteswith regard to taxation notes and disclosures for review by the accounting management team. Assist with requests for information from clients for information to enable the accurate and complete processing of CT returns, VAT returns, Personal tax returns auditfiles, P11Ds and PSA submissions. Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on clients behalf to ensure it processes client returns efficiently and accurately. The role would suit a technically roundedACA/ACCA Qualified Accountantwho has recent experienceworking within an Accountancy firm and possesses excellent Tax knowledge. Experience working with international businesses would be beneficial although this is not essential.
