The Nuclear Medicine Department provides a clinical service based on diagnostic and therapeutic applications of radioactive materials. The work is currently carried out on two hospital sites, Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.The post holder will be required to provide reception cover and admin duties in the Nuclear Medicine Department and the PET facility at Castle Hill Hospital. The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, reliability and adaptability. The post holder will be able to prioritise demanding workloads and work under their own initiative. The post holder will be a key member of the Nuclear Medicine team and will have direct contact with patients, medical, nursing, and other staff and is therefore expected to represent the department in a professional manner at all times. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a flexible approach to enable the management of the department.30 Hours per week (four days)It may be possible to reduce these hours/jobshare for the right applicantsworking between the hours of 07.45 am and 19.00pm(dependant on working area, ie Nuclear Medicine or PET/CT Centre)PLEASE NOTE: In cases where a vacancy receives a high number of applications, we may bring the closing date forward.
