ü Are you a reliable and motivated Butchers Assistantü Do you have a passion for quality and consistencyü Are you looking for a new challengeWe are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Butchers Assistant / Sausage Maker to join the teamat this established butchery operation based nr. East Leake, Leicestershire.The product offering includes the finest cuts of beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game sourced froma small select group of farmers and suppliers.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of sausages for sale in a network of retail shops
  • Able to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
  • Work well as part of a team to ensure products are manufactured to exacting standards
  • All due diligence – health and safety, food safety etc.
    • The Ideal Candidate:ü Previous experience as an Apprentice Butcher, Butchers Assistant or Sausage Maker.ü Enthusiastic and Reliable – A Good Time Keeperü A major focus on attention to detail with Quality, Pride and Consistency in work being of the upmost importanceü Organised approach to workü Be honest, reliable and dedicatedü Due to use of machinery, minimum age of applicants is 18 yearsThis is a full-time position, DAYS ONLY.The successful candidate will be joining a multi-site, multi-award winning family business with an excellent reputation in their sector and a strong customer base. In return for meeting the above criteria the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive wage (remuneration dependant on skills and experience).
