Job Description

Our clients a well established Independent Shipping and Logistics provider that offers Freight Forwarding and end to end Supply chain solutions for their customers Worldwide. They have Warehouse and distribution facilities and various offices throughout the UK with offices overseas. Due to their continued growth within the organisation, they are currently looking for an Export Project Coordinator to work within their Project division and to also help out within the general export forwarding sector.Duties will include:

Working within general forwarding and Project forwarding operations.

Dealing with Ocean, Air and Road freight Exports

Liaison with Shipping Lines, Air Carriers and Hauliers with regards to Exporting cargo.

Liaison with overseas agents, overseas office and UK offices.

Dealing with Export projects freight from start to finish.

Quoting making sure that you are maximising profits for the company

Organising Transport of cargo from customers premises to the Warehouse and ports.

Dealing with all necessary export documentation

Organising customs clearance of goods

Inputting export customs entries into system

Dealing with any queries that may arise

Invoicing customers

Making sure all costs are correct and input into system.

In reward, you will have an opportunity to work with flexible hours to include some home working, a generous salary and the opportunity to progress within the company.You will need to have experience of working within Ocean freight Exports and ideally have some experience of working within Air/Road freight exports. You will have knowledge of export customs procedures and system training will be given.Salary £26/28k negotiable depending on experience. Required skills
