Job Description

Abatec are recruiting for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a highly successful Civil Engineering contractor on an ongoing basis. Our client has secured long term work within the Cornwall area and are recruiting for a QS to join the team.As a Quantity Surveyor you will:

Ensure effective cost management of the projects through regular and accurate forecasting and cost/value reporting.

Identify, value and present any change items, e.g. variations, CEs etc.

Report to the commercial lead

Our client requires a Quantity Surveyor with:

Experience of working on infrastructure/highways schemes.

Proven ability to deliver multiple civil engineering projects.

The ability to work autonomously and has excellent communicate skills.

A degree & holds a valid CSCS card

Salary and benefits include:

£300-£350 per day
