Job Description

Frontend WordPress Developer Salary: Completive Salary + Benefits The Company:Our client is working with customers on a global scale in diverse industry sectors. They specialise in connecting audiences through multiple channels and platforms, both online and offline; using a broad range of innovative and creative processes to delivertactical, measurable, and creative campaigns. The clients operational offices are based in the North West however, their reach is worldwide.The Role:They are looking for a frontend WordPress Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, to join a growing team to implement and maintain award-winning websites for their clients. You will have the ability to project manage, are a great communicatorwho is focused on discovering solutions facilitating meaningful discussions and building consensus. You will be a natural problem solver, have attention to detail and passionate to learning new technologies and effortlessly translate designs into code.The following technical experience is required:Role Responsibilities:

  • Skilled working with team members to discuss website design and function.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders as part of team meetings.
  • Develop beautiful frontend solutions.
  • Create the website architecture.
  • Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Generate WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Conduct website performance tests and optimising sites.
  • Monitor the performance of live websites.
  • Actively review website performanceoffer recommendations to the team
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
Essential Skills & Requirements: You will need to demonstrate:
  • Strong knowledge CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery, PHP, Responsive/flexible build.
  • Knowledge and working experience of Gulp and/or Webpack.
  • Knowledge of React and headless CMS deployment a bonus.
  • Knowledge of PHP for template development.
  • Plugin development a bonus.
  • Knowledge of code versioning toolsGit.
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Good understanding of building for SEO.
  • Good understanding of browser differences.
