Do you have experience as a warehouse team leader and are you looking to secure a well paid permanent job If so, Absolute Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the Congleton area who are looking for someone to join their expandingteam on an on-going basis!Key Duties/responsibilities:- Accurately check and store stock from manufacturers- Accurate and timely replenishment of the pallet racking in readiness for the order picking process- Inspect delivery vehicle and goods on arrival, ensure goods are booked in using the internal parcel- numbers with no excess stock received- Ensure the correct order is being dispatched and is correctly wrapped and stored- Ensure that the stock is rotated in date order- Organise the day to day FLT drivers workload- Ensuring that all delivery notes are checked, signed, and passed to the relevant department- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within the warehouse- Ensure racking in safe- FLT maintenance checks- Ensure site cleaning is completed as per hygiene schedules and documented CICS, ensuring ahigh standard of hygiene is maintained across site and equipment at all times.- Ensure all site CCP verification checks are completed as defined by the company HACCP plan- and that results of checks are accurately recorded.- Ensure appropriate work instructions are in place and ensure production teams are adequately trained in hygiene procedures, CCP procedures and all other procedures relevant to product safety & quality.- To work to maximum efficiently by ensuring no backlog of product on a daily basisEnsure the Health, safety and wellbeing rules and procedures are followed at all timesTo be successful for this role you must have the below skills:- PC literate- Innovative/Smart Thinking- Excellent communication skills- Able to plan and organise work efficiently and effectively- Ability to lead the tear, ensuring the team is fit for purpose against the short- and medium-term plan- Able to operate under pressure and to short deadlines- Meticulous and accurate- Creative, problem solving- Able to work effectively as either part of a team or as an individual- Highly Numerate and accurate- Committed to high standardsThis is a great opportunity to secure well paid, on-going work with a great company!Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:00 NO WEEKENDS21 Days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.
