Job Description

Excellent opportunity for a Transport/Logistics Administrator to join a well-established company in Congleton.Working in both the office, warehouse and with the drivers your role will be busy and duties are likely to include:

  • Checking pallets
  • Assisting in the Warehouse
  • Answering the telephone
  • Responding to emails
  • Arranging transport for delivery of orders
  • Preparing all paperwork
  • Creating despatch paperwork
  • Delivering first-class customer service to customers
  • Maintain records within a regulatory environment
  • Responding to customer bookings and overseas agents requests
  • Order processing using an in-house system and Excel
    • The ideal candidate:
  • Experience within a similar administrative role within a Manufacturing/Industrial industry
  • Experience liaising with warehouse and transport staff
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity
  • Computer literate
    • Other details
  • Working hours Monday - Friday 0800 - 1600 (flexible)
