Packing Operative

Our prestigious Client are looking to recruit a permanent Packing Operative

Packaging of products ready for shipment in accordance with relevant customer packing specifications and/or the Packing Manual, using approved packaging media.
Packing in accordance with planned delivery schedules or as the priority order specified by the Logistics Team Leader.
Ensuring product is packed at the required and correct quantity for each shipment.
Final checking of product prior to packing to ensure it is free from damage and foreign object inclusions.
Printing and attaching product identification labels.
Loading and unloading of transport vehicles using safe manual handling techniques or using fork lift truck vehicles where necessary.
Ensure that goods are off-loaded, transported, protected, stored, packed and shipped in accordance with Company’s Integrated Management Procedures, to prevent deterioration or damage.
Ensure all storage and handling activities are conducted safely.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential7am -3.30pm Monday - Thursday7am -12 noon Friday Required skills
