Our client is an independent Freight forwarder, offering freight forwarding solutions on a bespoke basis to all parts of Europe and globally worldwide as well as Transport/Courier services. We are now looking due to expansion and development for a Freight Account Manager to join the team at their Congleton locationYour role of a Freight Account Manager will involve costing and quoting for all modes of freight, handling all freight documentation and operating cargo with whichever suppliers you would like and who are offering the best rates, service etc Using your own freight and sales skills to develop and maximise business and generating reasonable profits for the company.My client is very supportive and has strong network and team that you will be joining but your will not be micro managed and you can manage your day entirely as you choose without anyone looking over your shoulder or expecting ongoing reports. You can visit clients as and when you see fit you day is managed by yourself and controlled by you.If you have a successful proven track record in freight forwarding, logistics from within a sales/account management or related driven role and are looking to grow this is a great opportunity for you Benefits Salary £25,000 to £35,000 Bonus ranging from 5%-20%Private Healthcare Required skills
