Job Description

Factory OperativeAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Factory Operative based in Congleton, Cheshire. The successful candidate will earn £1,575 per month.Please note- the employer will be paying a 6.6% salary increase from 1st April 2022.Role Requirements

  • Be able to identify and report health and safety issues.
  • Be willing to work overtime as an when required.
Role Responsibilities
  • Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery e.g., granulated plastic into injection moulding machines.
  • Operating production line equipment e.g., automatic cable cutting machine, injection moulding machine or automatic wire crimping machine.
  • Assembling goods on a production line e.g., the assembly of Power Cable leads and vehicle wiring looms.
  • Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
  • Finishing products, e.g., applying labels and protection.
  • Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.
  • General vigilance and respect for the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and those around you.
