Job Description

Factory Operative | Congleton, Cheshire | Full Time | £1,733 per monthOur client has been manufacturing cable solutions for over 45 years. Supplying into multiple sectors.Manufacturing has evolved significantly and more recently they have evolved to be a bespoke cable solution provider as well as a single source manufacturer of cables and connectors.What can you expect in return

What will your role as a Factory Operative look like
  • Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery e.g., granulated plastic into injection moulding machines
  • Operating production line equipment e.g., automatic cable cutting machine, injection moulding machine or automatic wire crimping machine
  • Assembling goods on a production line e.g., the assembly of Power Cable
  • Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
  • Finishing products, e.g., applying for labels and protection
  • Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery
  • General vigilance and respect for the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and those around you
