Job Description

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join them in Congleton. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, along with excellent communication and PC skills.Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide relevant support to the Business Development and SIOP (Sales Inventory Operational Planning) team for the following processes:
- Customer Contract Review - Generation of customer contract review documentation in line with sales enquiries.- Order Loading - Carry out data input activities to load firm customer sales orders onto the business production system.- Customer Interface - Liaise with customer to confirm acceptance, decline or alternative proposals for sales orders.- Documentation Control - Periodically transfer sales order documentation from the physical paper to electronic environment.
  • Oversee significant aspects of the customer experience by challenging current administration processes and implementing optimal levels of automation and streamlining.
  • Define, manage and deliver targeted customer facing and departmental improvement projects as agreed between the individual and the Business Development Director.
  • Support the enquiry to quote to customer conclusion cycle on selected opportunities.
  • Providing help and advice to customers regarding business products or services.
  • Investigate and resolve customers problems whilst capturing and applying wider lessons learned for the business.
  • Analyse statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service that the business is providing.
  • General Business Development support, such as creating of reports, PowerPoint presentations and management of selected customer/supplier scorecards.
