Job Description

This company is a leading Wallcoverings Manufacturer based in Congleton. Having recently undertaken a site relocation that has seen significant investment from the owners, the company is now looking to recruit Colour Mixers to strengthen the current teamand increase production capacity.Colour Mixer Cheshire, CW12 1UW£12.42 - £14.49Day / Night shifts 36-hour week / 12-hour shifts running days and nights (3 out of 7)About the roleWorking within the Production Department, Colour Mixers are responsible for producing inks for wallpaper production to agreed specifications, procedures and timescales.Who we are looking forThe successful candidates will ideally have work experience in a similar role working with gravure printing machinery (other printing experience will be considered). These roles require an excellent eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure andas part of a team. Any formal qualification in Colour Mixing would be advantageous.These are permanent roles working 12 hour shifts (36 hours a week). Shifts run days and nights over 6 days a week on a 4 week rotating shift pattern.Essential Criteria

  • Ability to complete and pass a Colour Vision test
  • A positive hands-on approach
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to multi task effectively being crucial
  • Capacity to function alone without direct oversight, follow instructions, as well as, working on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the company both verbally & using written communication
  • Experience working in manual role
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Previous experience working within the Printing industry
