Job Description

We are looking to recruit one experienced receptionist to join our team at Dr Fox and Partners for our 13,500 patients.The post holder will work within the Reception Team across both sites and support the administration and clinical teams. You will be the main point of contact for patient enquiries about their appointments and the services we offer, so resilience is a key requirement as well as a caring customer service communication style.Key duties include:

Make appointments by telephone and face to face including arrivals for the walk in clinics

As a care navigator, you will signpost patients to appropriate NHS services or appropriate Health Professional to meet their needs

Deal with patient enquiries professionally to ensure a high standard of service is delivered.

Deal with internal and external mail

Open and secure the premises at the start and end of the day.

Keep reception areas clean and tidy, stocking leaflets up and keeping notices up to date.

Handle specimens received from patients and prepare collection bags

Promote electronic services such as online booking and electronic prescriptions

Promote new clinical roles to patients and carers
