Job Description

We are excited to be looking for a Payroll Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Human Resources department.The role:An experienced Payroll Advisor is required to process the monthly payroll for approximately 800 employees, over 6 payrolls.

  • Competent and professional with up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge including HMRC.
  • Handling queries and providing advice to staff in relation to salaries, tax, pensions, salary sacrifices and NI.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely in-house payroll is processed in accordance with contractual and statutory regulations.
  • The successful applicant would be responsible for dealing with all starters, leavers, changes, overtime, pensions, auto-enrolment, salary sacrifice schemes and allowances via the payroll system.
  • In addition, processing pension data directly with NEST and Aviva.
  • Key contact for employee benefits scheme.
The ideal candidate:
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced Payroll Administrator who has processed UK payrolls with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work competently under pressure and to multitask is essential.
  • Applicants should be proactive and highly organised with good time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Excel and Word skills are essential.
