Job Description

Come and join our team at NNUHFT and help us on our journey to ‘Outstanding’.An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Healthcare Professional to join our Senior Management Team as The Clinical Governance manager for The Women’s and Children’s Division . The successful candidate will work closely with the Women and Children’s Senior Management Team including patients and their families as our partners in care, The Divisional Nurse and Midwifery Directors, Chief Of Division, Lead Consultants for Clinical Governance and our Matron teams, as well as close liaison with the Trust Patient Safety Team and Divisional Governance leads. The successful candidate will be key in leading clinical quality and the Clinical Governance strategy within the hospital.This opportunity will suit a healthcare professional with demonstrable knowledge of each Directorate Women and Children’s host: namely, midwifery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and NICU.The post requires expert knowledge and experience in clinical governance, audit, patient safety agenda, attention to detail, fairness in investigation and management of complaints and incidents. They will be responsible for ensuring that robust governance and risk systems are in place and that effective learning and continuous development takes place across the organization and wider health system.As a Division We truly believe in developing our workforce to be an empowered, dynamic multidisciplinary team working together to deliver excellent care and provide the best experience for our patients.
