Job Description

Success Recruit are currently working with a Solicitors in Colchester who are seeking to recruit a Trainee Paraplanner to join their IFA Team.The successful candidate will be seeking a career within the Financial Services industry and be willing to study the CII Certificate or LIBF Certificate outside of working hours.The successful Trainee Paraplanner will be expected to:

  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Be IT proficient and be competent using Microsoft Office
  • Be able to prioritise workload with excellent attention to detail

    • Job DescriptionThe Trainee Paraplanner will be providing support to the Financial Planning Managers in research and analysis to meet clients’ needs and objectives. There will be a requirement to travel to other offices along the A12 corridor.Duties to include:
  • Processing new business and general client administration as required
  • Undertake product and provider research including use of O&M Pension Profiler and Avelo
  • Database creation and management
  • Preparing necessary paperwork and application forms for client meetings
  • Obtaining Illustrations and quotations from Platform providers and Insurance companies, etc
  • Communicating with product providers on case progress
  • Liaising with other Financial Services Team members and departments in the firm in relation to mutual clients
  • General secretarial/administration support
  • Dealing with telephone calls from clients and product providers
