Are you a Tax expert looking for a new challengeDo you want to expand your current knowledge, work with a leading expert in their fieldDoes the idea of joining an expanding firm with real growth ambitions, in a role that will offer progressionReed Practice can offer such an opportunity for a skilled Tax Accountant, with a rising star in the accountancy practice sector in the Suffolk region, to provide high calibre compliance services to a range of private clients including HNWI’s, non-residentindividuals and trustees.The work and clients are varied, and interesting, and international tax is a particular area they are expanding and will develop the successful applicant in expat tax if so desired.Tasks will include –• Prepare/review draft Self-Assessment tax returns including capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property.• Monitor the progress of tax return preparation and payment of tax through the tax cycle.• Draft tax planning advice where appropriate with support.• Provide technical assistance to non-tax staff.• Draft ad-hoc advisory work as required for Manager/Partner review• Present to clients with appropriate explanations.• Manage and develop client relationships of your own portfolio, identify new business opportunities.• Mentor, supervise and coach junior staff, delegating tasks effectively• Provide technical assistance to non-tax staff.• Review work of junior staff, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards / requirements.This is truly an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax professional who is looking for a successful and welcoming firm with approachable and supportive management team.We invite those with the following qualifications, experience, and attributes to apply:• ATT qualified with 2 years post qualification experience or qualified by experience.• Hold or be studying towards the CTA qualification is an advantage, but not essential.• Acquainted with accounts and tax preparation software.• Have an ambitious, commercial approach.• Solutions focused.• Excellent client management skillsSalary will reflect the level and experience of the successful applicant.
