Job Description

Alexander Knight are currently recruiting on behalf of one of their clients based in Kelvedon near Colchester in Essex for an experienced New Business Developer.Our client is looking for a dynamic, target driven individual looking to build a career in sales to join their already friendly successful team. This role is office based only.The successful candidate will be provided with an established portfolio to manage and maintain as well as building their own new business.You will be required to manage, advise and recommend fuel cost solutions to their clients, converting enquiries into sales. An assistant will be provided once the portfolio reaches a certain level so that the candidate can focus on building the new business.If you feel you have the credentials and drive for this role then please feel free to apply.Initial interviews will be carried out on Zoom and if successful will be invited to a second face to face interview.Full training will be given to the successful candidate.Salary:Basic of £21,000 with an uncapped commission structure OTE of £50,000+

  • Lead Generating
  • Cold call prospect customers
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Conduct credit checks using internal systems
  • E-mail potential customers with introduction letters, proposals and illustrations of product savings
  • Account manage current customer portfolio and upsell products
  • Input and update all relevant data onto company bespoke computer system
  • Produce reports showing clear indication of pipeline status
  • Presenting monthly sales results to management
  • General administration duties
  • Any other duties that may be requested by the Board of Directors
  • Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in sales and proven ability to create new business and sales opportunities
  • Strength under pressure
  • Good IT Skills including Microsoft and Outlook
  • A drive and passion for achieving targets
  • Good communication skills
  • Outgoing, ambitious and enthusiastic
  • Free on-site parking.Due to the location of the office, a full driving licence and your own transport is required. Required skills
