Job Description

Are you currently working in Finance and Accounting or looking for a new role in this area Do you have experience in being an escalation point or first point of queryWere looking for a Process Team Leader to supervise a team ensuring the delivery of a transaction processing service to clients. You will have a good solid understanding of the developments in your area and will be working in the Purchase 2 Pay area ofthe Finance and Accounting Team.Were looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills and who has experience in acting as a first point of contact. Does this sound like you or someone you knowWhat you will be doing:

  • Lead small teams - Motivate and develop the team and encourage communication while scheduling team work to required timescales and service levels
  • Lead the planning implementation, in order to ensure the availability of required staff members
  • Ensure that agreed processes, standards, timescales and quality requirements are adhered to
  • Identify and manage improvements within own area
  • Update and maintain data base, systems, and documentation
  • Follow regulatory requirements where applicable and collect and provide statistical data/reports as the need arises
What youll bring:
  • Able to lead small teams
  • Good understanding of Oracle Financial Modules
  • Highly developed user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good at internal and external communication
  • Ability to manage a small budget (FTEs, overtime)
  • Ability to set and achieve performance targets
It would be great if you had:
  • Previous experience of Shared Service Transactional Finance Delivery
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering CI initiative and/or small projects
