If you are up for a challenge and are willing to work hard, working with us will giveyou a fulfilling and varied careerDo you have experience as a Senior Data Warehouse ConsultantAs a Solution Architect you play a pivotal role in helping Target achieve its strategic objectives.You are responsible for the implementation of our strategic modernisation agenda and the development of the technical road map along with the technical frameworks.This is a client facing role where you will be expected to interpret client business requirements and translating these requirements into the creation of holistic solutions.You will utilise a combination of Targets in-house capabilities in conjunction with the capabilities of 3rd party fintech to drive solutions which meet and exceed client expectations and are fit for purpose for a digital age.Your exceptional solutioning capability will be backed up with strong technical knowledge to ensure the production of holistic solutions that provide implementation guidance for in-house technical teams and our selected business partners.You will work collaboratively with all areas of the business to analyse functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them to reliable and cost-effective solutions that encompass the following solution elements: Application layers Integration Data collection & management BI Infrastructure dependency Technical feasibility Data migrationPeople

• Provide expert advice and guidance to the project teams, other designers and systems development on how to design secure solutions which ensure the Information Security policies and practices are met.
• Work and co-ordinate with the Bid and Sales teams to ensure Information Security requirements are correctly identified in new business and incorporated into the solution design
• To develop, improve and promote secure design principles and practices, processes which minimise risk.
• Definition, agreement, tracking and reporting of security requirements to ensure continuous improvement.

Customer

• Work with Information Security on the development policies and practices which ensure "Security by Design" and "Privacy by Design".
• Monitor and provide feedback on the design process for management.
• Deliver secure solution designs which meet the clients/customers requirements
• Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of the business and relate to security.

Financial

• Identify Security solutions and patterns that will have a positive effect on the core service
• Ensure timely delivery of security management information to the IT Security Manager and clients

Youre someone who has:

• Relevant Industry education & IT qualifications aligned to secure solution design and development
• CISMP, CISSP or similar experience
• IT or Business Degree (desirable)
• Significant experience in IT Architecture within Financial Services (e.g. TOGAF, SABSA, COBIT)
• Ability to produce effective and secure designs
• Experience of determining solution requirements
• Experience of the design of security components within enterprise solutions (infrastructure and development)
• Familiarisation of ISO27001
• An awareness of best practice associated with FS Risk & Compliance
• Experience in agile development techniques, e.g. SCRUM
• BCS Member (desirable)
• Java programming experience (desirable)
• Enterprise Message Bus design experience (desirable)
• Cloud deployment experience (desirable)
