Senior Programme Manager - Inside IR35 - £500 per day - SC Cleared - Newport, Onsite - 12 Months - Single Stage ProcessYolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Programme Manager to work on a 12 month deal onsite in Newport with our defence client.Programme ManagementEnsuring programme / projects are planned and managed within budget, in line with quality specifications and on schedule in cooperation with internal and external service providers and partners with the aim of guaranteeing smooth progress and completion ofthe project. Ensuring compliance with planning parameters and initiating corrective measures in coordination with the superior in the event of deviations. Ensure adherence to agreed BMS and Gate processes.SubcontractorsAlongside Subcontract Management, ensuring the implementation of and compliance with all contracts with internal and external service providers and other subcontractors, taking into account scheduling, cost and quality requirements, with the aim of guaranteeingproper processing of orders and management of projects. Ensuring internal and external acceptance testing of products is completed in line with requirements.ReportingWriting reports for superiors to provide full and accurate information concerning project status, deviations from the aims and special risks, in line with requirements. Ensuring progress reports are compiled and aligned with the Business reporting cycle.Staff Management and OrganizationAlong with the Functional Manager direct, motivate and develop the project team, taking decisions on specific project related personnel measures in cooperation with HR department. Objective setting and performance appraisal of direct reports again in conjunctionwith Functional Manager.StrategyProviding support to formulate programme strategies ensuring that these strategies are implemented and followed in the area of responsibility. Align programme to strategic programme direction set by Client.Responsibilities

• The Programme Manager will be required to utilises best practice to ensure delivery to time, cost and quality agreed by the customer
• Ensure the Client and are aware of risks and opportunities associated with each sub-project within the overall programme.
• Key customers are kept informed and are content with progress on their projects
• When mitigation plans are required, ensure they are realistic and achievable and that they minimise the negative impact on the individual projects margin and the reputation of Client
• The effective and efficient delivery of customer contracts.
• In support of the Head of Programmes ensure implementation of processes and governance to drive best practice and effective delivery the programme

• Brings management level focus and leadership to the execution of the business (day to day management and direction of the programme)

• Provides operational direction, leadership and operational targets to each of the Project Managers to ensure that Cyber business goals are met in the most effective way

• Project manages key projects as necessary

• Manages key customer relationships to support the delivery of projects
