Job Description

We are looking for an upbeat and creative leader and influencer, able to drive and shape strategic thinking across a diverse group of collaborators and deliver successful campaigns that position us as an industry expert within the public sector.Essentially supporting the development of our corporate communications and marketing strategy across the business, working closely with the leadership teams across the organisation. You will support internal stakeholders and business growth teams, influencingcollaborators through detailed planning, research and networking producing compelling collateral in a variety of formats including case studies, insights, media and social media.This exciting role is a permanent contract with a flexible hybrid work pattern, you can be based anywhere in the UK, however there will be occasional travel to both our client locations and other SSCL offices as and when required.What youll be doing:

  • Developing the marketing & communications strategy and plan for SSCL, aligning to business objectives, priorities, targets and setting marketing KPIs and metrics to measure success.
  • Drive market awareness, by developing and delivering campaigns that position SSCL as an industry leader
  • Develop creative and persuasive content for a range of formats and channels, including the SSCL website, social media, brochures, award entries etc.
  • Drive greater use of digital marketing including and integrate with existing marketing & communications channels such as events and PR.
  • Support the internal communications and people engagement strategy plans to ensure all employees are kept up to date on key company information initiatives, client news and business wins.
What youll bring:
  • Highly motivated strategic thinker and great teammate who is confident and credible with senior leaders and able to influence, advise and negotiate to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Knowledgeable of principles, practices and techniques of marketing and communication strategies and proven track record in producing and delivering creative and impactful campaigns.
  • Excellent written, oral and organisational skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work to effectively run sophisticated projects, involving multiple collaborators.
  • Effective evaluator - confidence to measure, evaluate and analyse data and regularly report on campaigns and activities to a senior leadership audience.
