Job Description

Do you have a background in financial services Do you have great attention to detail and a passion for completing investigations If so, this role as a Screening Executive working for one of the largest outsourcers in South Wales could be just what you are after.Key benefits for a Screening Executive:

  • Flexible working hours working 37.5 hours per week

    • Key skills needed for a Screening Executive:
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment
  • Experience working in a financial services regulatory environment
  • Previous experience in financial crime prevention, including AML, Sanctions & PEPs
  • Knowledge of ML Regulations, JMLSG, FCA & EU standards
  • Analytical skills and an ability to gather and manage information effectively, efficiently and ethically
  • Investigative skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to present information clearly, concisely and accurately
  • Ability to plan work load to ensure delivery to stringent time frames
  • Strong written and inter-personal communications skills
  • Previous experience in the use of Lexis-Nexis
    • Key responsibilities for a Screening Executive:
  • Support and encourage the awareness of financial crime across the business along with compliance to the related policies and procedures
  • Fully support the Financial Crime Manager, deputy MLRO and MLRO
  • Assist with collation, analysis and Management Information (MI) internally and across all lending & investment portfolios
  • Identify existing/emerging financial crime risks across the company and suggest prevention/detection processes and/or systems to mitigate the risks identified
  • Conduct screening in line with client requirements, review sanctions and PEP match alerts via the Lexis Nexis screening system. Complete independent investigation to rule out these alerts, escalating potential matches promptly to the Senior Financial Crime Executives and respective clients
