Job Description

Are you currently looking for temporary workShift Patterns 4-8pm, 5-9pm, 6-10pm Monday to FridayMinimum of 4 hours per day.9.90 per hourFull time office based - no home working.Then read on as this could be the role for you!Based in the Celtic Springs area of Newport.Job RoleTransactional/Case work mix - processing subject access requests on a case by case basis.MOJ responsible for data access for every user inc. prison population - SAR for MOJ. Have recruited a full time team of 25+2 TL in last 3 or 4 months. Increasing headcount with this 20 to speed up processing. Temps can pick uo scanning/admin etc. leavingcore team to do the bulk of the work.Good articulation and understanding reading through volumes. Reading documentation and interpreting it. No candidates under 18 due to content of documents.The day jobWere currently looking for a number of team members for our exciting new Offender Subject Access Request team, working within the Document Management area and supporting SSCLs client MOJ. The team will be responsible for responding to subject access requestsfor the Prison Service, HMPPS.Day to day, this role will include tasks such as, data collation, detailed review of documentation, content redaction, compliance checking, the recording of statistics related to the process and some query resolution. The core of this role is the accurateand compliant provision of data in response to subject access requests, therefore a keen eye for detail and high levels of focus and accuracy are key for this role.This role has options in regards to working patterns with the majority of the work expected to be conducted during an afternoon/evening shift with working hours between 1600 and 2200, Monday - Friday. All roles are office based in our Newport Centre of Excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn the procedures and understand parameters of producing a compliant output.Process work in line with agreed procedures.Process work to the defined level of quality.Resolve queries, escalate as necessary and log if appropriate.To schedule and prioritise allocated work on a daily basis.Identify and suggest areas of improvement.Maintain and update information as required.Support line management on any additional admin when required.Liaise with internal/external clients.Maintain records for audit purposes.Ensure deadlines are met.Essential Skills:High degree of accuracyAttention to detailAble to focus when working through large volumes of contentAble to work well in a teamArticulate and able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and clientsAble to work to strict deadlinesEffective team player, who constantly displays commitment and flexibility;Assimilates and applies policies and procedures consistently;Accurate and timely delivery of tasks;Effective problem solver;Excellent organisational skills;Good IT skills (standard office programs only, no specialist skills required)Desirable Skills:Excellent communicatorNumeratePrevious experience of using Adobe Pro
