Mechanical Fitter6 month contractAbout the roleA key element of this role will be carrying out the installation and maintenance of all mechanical plant and equipment used in the production of potable water. You will contribute to ensuring that customers receive an acceptable quality and quantity of waterwith the minimum disruption to supply.What youll be doing as a Mechanical FitterCarrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on mechanical equipment relating to the Sewage Pumping Stations in compliance with company procedures in order to minimize plant breakdowns.Investigating the nature of plant failures and subsequently carrying out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to avoid interruptions to the Sewage Pumping Stations and Waste Water Treatment Works in order to ensure compliance Carrying out the installations, refurbishment and commissioning of mechanical plant to specification and on timeAbout youYou will hold a valid driving licence and travel to multiple sites within the area. The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory medical review with our Occupational Health provider, Caer Health, as you may be required to work in confined spaces. You will also be required to take part in our standby rota.
