Job Description

Have you got administration experience and looking to develop these within a finance role if so, read on...SSCL is looking to recruit a Finance Administration Assistant join our SSCL Police Sector. You will be responsible for performing transactional Purchase to Pay activities such as creating and amending AP Supplier records, conversion of Requisitions intoPurchase Orders, inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices, creating payment runs, statements and housekeeping activities for SSCL Police clients. In addition, the role will involve the monitoring and resolution of queries via email and telephonesHelpdesk, from both Suppliers and the Client.This exciting role is a permanent contract with hybrid work pattern, working three days from home and two days from our Newport office located in NP10.What youll be doing:

  • Ensure day to day service delivery and achievement of all P2P SLA and KPIs by monitoring workloads and escalating issues that could affect delivery targets the Management Team
  • Understand the boundaries of SSCL service delivery to the client. Where issues arise that are within SSCLs remit, take ownership and seek to overcome them
  • Promote positivity, willingness and commitment to achieving service delivery across P2P. Understand agreed PSOP service level agreements (SLA) and strive to meet them by achieving daily targets
  • To maintain records and filing systems, retrieving information as required
  • To collate and issue documentation as required
  • To take messages, deal with enquiries/provide support via email and phone and resolve or escalate as necessary
  • To assist in the production of weekly and monthly project control information and month end reporting
What youll bring:
  • Good IT Skills including Microsoft office
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Able to work as part of a team develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients
