Job Description

DescriptionAs Target continue to grow its Digital and BPO offerings, the Service Transition Team is critical to our on-going success. Our Service Transition approach is a core function to the business and is at the forefront of Change in the organisation. It enablescollaboration across multiple stakeholder groups, to assure a successful and controlled go live for our internal and external customers. We have an exciting opportunity to join this growing team!As Business Readiness Manager, youre a point of contact for our clients and wider Target business. Youll be responsible for all required activities for the Service Transition of new services into Target, meeting the agreed Service Readiness Criteria ofthe Business, Client and varying numbers of Stakeholders across the organisationOther responsibilities will include:

  • providing progress updates on Targets operational readiness
  • producing the appropriate Service Transition documentation ensuring they are aligned to the project delivery timescales and milestones
  • collaborate with the wider business areas impacted by the change to ensure that the new service is transitioned and established in line with agreed contractual obligations
  • collaborate with various stakeholders to complete the service readiness criteria, supporting the Service Transition methodology and be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate governance frameworks are followed, and progress is monitored and reportedon as appropriate.

Working as part of this team, youll actively contribute towards a continuous improvement culture, suggesting ways to reduce costs and improve productivity.A well delivered transition drives our Client satisfaction, future revenue opportunities and fosters a positive experience of change for our people.Although our offices are based in Newport, Cardiff and Chester, this role offers remote working so we welcome applications from across the UK!The successful candidate will be offered a starting salary between £30,000 and £40,000 (depending on experience). Youll join a fantastic team and company culture, with fantastic opportunities for progression as we continue to dramatically expand!RequirementsYoure someone who has the following experience:
  • Business Readiness/Transition or Operations
  • Building strong and lasting internal and external (Customer) relationships
  • Transitioning projects, covering a variety of internal teams and/or 3rd Parties, from inception into Operational Service
  • Designing end-to-end service and support models
  • Monitoring project budgets to agreed levels in terms of own estimate v actuals
  • Discussing Service Levels and contracts with clients
Wed love it if you had the following industry experience, though not essential:
  • Successfully working with local and virtual teams across varying functions to ensure a quality focused delivery
  • Working within a BPO organisation
  • working in the "outsourcer" industry preferably within the financial sector
  • An understanding of how Financial Services companies work in terms of systems, processes and revenue streams
