Business Development ManagerRemote role, with Head Office based in Newcastle Upon TyneMy client are a software solutions developer, part of a larger group that offers clinical services, communications and assessment and software solutions for companies across the UK. Created to 2005, when we started working in the Process Sector offeringa digital logbook solution to cater for shift handovers and task management, with the view of providing the duty holder of an asset with visibility over key operational activities.Since then, they have developed a range of solutions that have grown significantly in size and importance to our customers as we have delivered many key modules in support of assurance and compliance processes around an asset or property.Role DescriptionThe role of the Business Development Manager is to support the existing customer base and to explore new opportunities for the current product set as well as to identify, develop and secure new business in the new sectors.The company maintains and develops a software product which is used by operators to manage several aspects of the daily operations of both upstream and downstream assets and properties ranging across the four key areas of site safety, process safety, integrityand maintenance with software modules enabling both data collection and information to be surfaced across the solution to assist the end user in decision making.The solution can be tailored for each customer and in doing so caters for addressing both the needs of the operator and the compliance visibility with a view to assuring safe and reliable operations of an asset. For example the asbestos module that allowsan asset owner to identify, monitor and share information in a graphical manner to all staff and contractors involved in the asset.The role requires that the candidate have experience and understanding across the four areas mentioned and specifically in the following processes
