Workflow Supervisor Rotating shifts / Monday - Friday / 6am - 2.30pm & 2.30pm - 11pm Salary: Up to £37,000 per year VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Workflow Supervisor. Lets Talk about the Role As a Workflow Supervisor, you will manage a technically minded team who ensure smooth system, orderand product flow throughout the DC and promote operational excellence within an evolving department. The role links DC Operations, DC Flow Room and Engineering Teams to ensure collaborative working and problem resolution is embedded within the site. How YouWill Make a Difference * Effective management of relationship between Flow, Inventory Control, DC Operations and Engineering teams. * Driving a safety culture and supporting Health & Safety compliance in the DC * Accountability for ensuring the correct inventory,in the correct place at the correct time to meet customer order demands. * Undertaking of root cause analysis to minimise Not Right First Time (NRFT), ensuring timely completion, resolution and preventative measures are implemented. * Providing focus and guidanceto DC operations, ensuring the correct levels of process efficiency and compliance are maintained whilst delivering on site performance and quality metrics. * Ensuring optimal storage and conveyor utilisation to minimise the impact on automation occupancylevels and the amount of transport movements. * Managing flow room processes to ensure maximum opportunity for productivity within the team * Effectively manage the Flow Room team to deliver site targets through Short Interval Control (SIC) and other appropriatereporting tools to ensure performance meets the required standards. Identify and implement countermeasures where required. * Monitoring system performance, workflow release strategy and parameters to ensure optimal flow of stock through the operational systems.* Proactively manage people issues (including Wellbeing, Dependants, Time Off, Parental Leave, Sickness) liaising with HR to ensure consistent application of policy and advice Skills for Success You should be someone who has proven managerial experience ina fast-paced Flow Room environment providing a high standard of leadership with: * A detailed understanding of the functionality and operation of warehouse control systems (WCS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for automated distribution centres * Goodstakeholder management experience for both internal and external teams * The ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats across all levels of the logistics function and is able to present information and proposals in a professional, structuredand persuasive way, eliminating ambiguity. * Experience of working in a large-scale automated distribution facility, preferably with experience of working with multiple MHE solution providers. * A strong analytical background who is able to demonstrate decisionled leadership.
