Transport Planner Full Time, Permanent £26,000 - £30,000 Leicestershire, LE67The Commercial Team at SF Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their team based in North Leicestershire. This is due to expansion plans within the business. As a Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for the strong coordination and planning of fleet across the UK, whilst supporting with Project Coordination and Administrative tasks. You will be responsible for: - Undertaking transport statements, assessments and Travel Plans to support planning applications for various clients. - Ensuring projects are completed within agreed timeframes by liaising directly with Planning and Highway Authorities. - Build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors. - Carry out travel assessments including disruptions, accidents, road closures etc using transport software apps. - Creating cost and time effective routes. - Maintaining updated health and safety and compliance checks. The successful candidate will need to have: - Strong attention to detail when planning routes within agreed timeframes. - Geographical knowledge of the UK. - Organised and methodical approach. - IT Literate - ideally have experience using Transport Software packages such as Junctions, Linsig and Trics (not essential).
