Job Description

Do you like the sound of working in a fast paced and varied Operational environment, where there is always something to do and opportunities to gain experienceIf so, our Transport Administrator role could be for you! We currently have a vacancy for a Transport Administrator, working as a part of our Transport team based at Coalville and supporting our fleet of drivers and vehicles.Working within the team, you will be responsible for various administration duties to support the Transport team within our busy Central Distribution Centre. This involves undertaking a wide variety of tasks to ensure compliant and error free deliveries to our customers.Key responsibilities:

  • Collate and input logistics data from the Transport Fleet including vehicle weights and departure times to ensure maintenance of accurate records.
  • Using smart analysis to check and record Working Time Directive data including tachograph data and driver hours. Highlighting any non-conformance to management to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. To produce the weekly infringement reports for managers to use with drivers.
  • Plan and record daily cabbed deliveries to meet customer order requirements. Maintain records of departure times and costs.
  • Assist the site management in facilitating vehicle and trailer inspections and maintenance within legal requirements. Ensure that records are returned and placed on file and planner updated.
  • Ensure the purchase order log is up to date and all spend is logged. To reconcile the PO log with supplier invoices. To code and enter invoices onto process it for authorisation by the relevant supervisor/manager.
  • Scan and load PODs on to Docstore daily.
  • Filing - vehicle and driver records, in accordance with Antalis best practice process.
