Trainee / Assistant Management AccountantCoalville£25k to £30kPermanent / Office Based with a degree of flexibilityThe OpportunityMy client is a long standing company with a strong reputation and brand, part of a larger parent group that boasts a lions share of the market within their sector. They are seeking to add to their team a Trainee / Assistant Management Accountant to join theirfinance team.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Manager you will assist in the preparation and production of Management reports, analysis across all aspects of the business and to the US Parent. You will also take ownership of balance sheet reconciliationproviding guidance and support to the transactional team in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.Reporting responsibilities include Inventory Analysis, Costing and contributing to the production of month end management accounts.Compliance responsibilities will include close liaison with Auditors and overseeing compliance with SOX controls.The CandidateIdeally you will have sector experience within FMCG or Manufacturing but its not essential. Part qualified and actively studying preferred however experience in the above is key therefore non-studiers / qualified by experience will also be considered. Youmust be hardworking and a team player and be a committed, Can do attitude, able to work to tight deadlines and demonstrate good initiative in problem solving and communication information to financial and non-financial stakeholdersIT literate, you should be adept with a computerised accounting system and be of a intermediate to advanced level in Excel (Pivots, Look ups, Sumifs).The BenefitsSalary guide is to c£30k plus study support where required.
