Job Description

Systems Manager Coalville, Leicestershire. £55,000 - £60,000pa + benefits Our client is a well-known UK distribution brand are recruiting a Systems Manager for their Distribution Centre, in line with business growth. Candidates must have experience in e commerce operations and automated warehouse environments. This role will have overall management and planning the work flow to ensure accurate, effective and efficient operational activity is delivered through the applicationand configuration of the Warehouse Management System. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Supervisors & administrators to ensure site operations run efficiently and within budget
  • Introduce and maintain first class inventory control processes and ensure appropriate stock procedures are documented and regularly reviewed to evidence compliance
Skills & Experience:
  • Systems management experience within a large automated distribution warehouse environment
  • Experience of writing SOPs and introducing process to a business is essential
  • Will preferably have a background in FMCG e commerce retail distribution
  • An analytical mind with attention to detail and the ability to analyse data to problem-solve and make recommendations for solutions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise workload, in a time-critical, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent numerical and literacy skills
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate to all levels of audience
  • Proficient with MS Office packages including Excel
