Job Description

*TRAINEE OUTREACH MALE SUPPORT WORKERSCOMMUNITY BASED SUPPORT IN COALVILLE, IBSTOCK & ASHBY DE LA ZOUCHSINGLE LOCATIONS ALL IN CLOSE AREA OF EACH OTHER

  • Days shifts can consider both FT and Part time applicants.
  • Shifts can be either 2pm to 8pm or 7am - 2:30pm or 7am-5pm or a very long 7am-10pm with a sleep
  • 12 - 48 Hour Permanent Contract
  • Can take Trainees with personal experience
  • Driving license required but do not need own car
  • Private home working direct with a single LD / MH Clients 1-1 in homes of up to 3 residents.
  • Will consider weekend only and other availability let us know

What we are looking to recruit for a Outreach Trainee Support Worker:
  • Currently we wish to recruit Outreach Trainee Support Workers, for Full-Time or Part Time positions ( 10 - 48 hour contracts).
  • Wonderful private houses looking after clients with learning disabilities spectrum
  • Do you like every day to be different you could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them with occupation needs and support. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting livingand dealing with challenging behaviour.
Key Duties for a Outreach Trainee Support Worker:
  • To deliver Person Centred Care
  • Providing support at levels working closely with other support workers
  • Identify at all times the client needs and requirements
  • The role can involve high needs including: personal care role working with learning disabilities.
  • Support client to live and work in the community and to live a fulfilling daily life.
  • Support clients to remain as independent as possible while being supported
  • Ability to work in a team and create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere with the client
About you:
  • The ideal applicants will have previous experience in a Support role however, we will consider applicants with the right attitude and aptitude for training.
  • You will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients
  • Applicants will be able to work well as part of a team or work independently.
  • An enhanced DBS will be required.
